How to Draw Mother Teresa, Mother Teresa
1
The first thing we need to do is make some guides. Draw an odd shape for the head, then sketch in the facial guidelines.
2
Next, begin sketching out the actual structure of her face, and when you do this make sure there are some layers in the lining to form the old soft baggy skin.
3
Next, use the facial guidelines to sketch in her nose, as well as the frown lines around the nose and mouth. Add her simple lined mouth, then proceed to step four.
4
Next up, before we draw in her face we need to sketch out the lid of the nun's headdress, then draw in the actual material for her headdress.
5
Next, sketch out the shape of her neck, then draw in the shirt collar. Add the wrinkling on her neck as well.
6
Lastly, draw in her small kind eyes, then sketch in the eyebrows as well as shade them in. Add the chin arch, then sketch in the wrinkle lines around her mouth which makes the mouth look puckered. Also sketch in some wrinkling creases on her cheek. E

Description: Here is a face that I bet most of you wouldn't thought to have seen on Dragoart. Here is a very simple, beautiful lesson on "how to draw Mother Teresa", step by step. This legendary woman was the founder of the Missionaries Charity which is a religious congregation based on Roman Catholic beliefs. The Missionary Charity has over four thousand five hundred sisters that are active in one hundred thirty three countries. Sisters run homes that offer hospice care for people that suffer from HIV and AIDS as well as tuberculosis, leprosy, counseling programs for children and their families, they also run and operate orphanages, schools, and feed people with their soup kitchens. Mother Teresa was born as Anjezë Gonxhe Bojaxhiu, she is an Indian from West Germany and she was born August 26, 1910 and lived until September 5, 1997. Sister Teresa took her vows as nun in 1931, and it was then that she choose the name 'Teresa'. She wanted t o honor the Saints Therese or Lisieux and Teresa of Avila. When the good sister first started, one of her missions was to teach kids how to read and write but because there was no supplies for them to learn with, she taught them by drawing in the sand or dirt using sticks. Another thing about Mother Teresa that some people don't know of is how she refused to have a celebration dinner after receiving the Nobel Peace Prize. Instead she wanted the one hundred ninety two thousand dollars to go to the poor people of India. Mother Teresa died when she was eighty seven years old, but not before she made a difference in the world. Have fun drawing Mother Teresa folks.
