Step 1.

Make the structured shape for Morty's head and face like you see here and be sure to incorporate the ear.

Next, draw the hairline and then add detailing inside the ear.

Now draw the torso which is also Morty's shirt. Add the short sleeve line and then make the collar.

Make the large shapes for the eyes and draw the brows in an upside down smile to make his expression look stressed.

Color in the pupils, then draw the nose and mouth or smile.

Lastly, draw the arm, then you can erase the mistakes to finish it all off.

And here is Morty when you are all done. Now you can color him in.
