Description: For my first tutorial of the day I will be showing you "how to draw masks, step by step". The only reason why I am submitting this lesson is because it was requested by a member some time back. These two faces are commonly seen as symbols for plays as well as tattoos. Is there a meaning behind these drama masks. I am not too sure what the true meaning is behind the laugh now cry later faces, I can only tell you what I’ve learned from my cousin who happens to be a tattoo artist. He said that laugh now/cry later is supposed to represent living life for the moment by living life each day to the fullest. The laughing face is for the happy times in your life and then the crying face is for all the hardships that you will go through with each passing day. There is no pleasure without pain, and you can’t feel pain without feeling pleasure. I wanted to draw some really cool looking faces and because of that I added some fiery flames surrounding the masks. Learning how to draw drama masks is wicked fun. The two faces are relatively easy to draw all you have to do is follow the steps and instructions that are laid out for you. If you want to, you could even draw in your own style of faces to make it even more customized. Either way you will have a fun time with this lesson, remember don’t forget to be creative with your colors when it is time to color them in. I really hope you enjoyed learning "how to draw masks". I will be back momentarily with more drawing fun so stay tuned.
