How to Draw Mary Poppins
1
We will begin with the basic guide shapes and lines as you see here. There are two shapes, one for the head and another for the body.
2
We will now use the head guide we just drew in step one to draw out the shape of Mary Poppins face in chibi form. It's just a couple bumps and the left is filled with an ear and some of her hair line. Also, draw the shoulder and parts of her hair bun
4
Here you will draw the top lining of the hat and then draw the band around the base of the hat. Don't forget to add some feathers too.
5
Okay, are you ready to draw in her eyes? Good. Here you will draw out the large shapes of the eyes starting with the thick lashes. Draw in the mouth and cheeks blushing as well as detailing inside her ear.
6
Here you will draw out her thick scarf which is wrapped around her neck. Don't forget to add detailing to the scarf as well.
9
For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw in her boots and add definition to the dress and suitcase. Erase the mistakes and guides then you're done.

Description: I don't know how many people know, but there is a new movie coming out staring Emily Blunt and she is playing Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins returns. Even though this was one of my favorite movies of all time, I have to be a bit disappointed that it is not an original movie, but just a remake of a classic character. Anyways, I wanted to make a super cute drawing lesson on how to draw Mary Poppins, so I turned her into a chibi as she is floating her way into the town where she will find her next pair of children to train and teach. Anyways, I do hope you like this tutorial. I made sure to incorporate her bag and umbrella. I will be back with some other fun lessons so please stay tuned in to see what pops up next.
