How to Draw Mad Hatter from Alice Madness
1
Let us begin by drawing the body pose guides. Start with the head and then draw the torso shape. Add the limb guides too.
2
Use the facial guides to draw out the large hot-dog shaped nose, then draw in the crinkling brows.
3
Now you can begin sketching out the shape of Mad Hatter's face structure which is sagging and old just like a troll. Once that is done you can incorporate the large ear, then draw in some detailing to the face.
4
We will work on Hatter's face by drawing in the row of teeth which are gnarly, then sketch in the warts, blisters and other imperfections. Detail inside the ear, then draw out the small beady eye. Add some shading around the eye too.
5
You can now draw in the tall top hat that he is wearing, and when that is done draw the rim. Add detailing at the base of the hat by sketching in the band.
6
Work on getting the torso drawn out next. Simply define the shape you drew in step one and add a line to create the arm.
8
Now start working on sketching out the sleeve. As you can see parts of the sleeve is wrapped in bandages.
10
Draw in the other arm which is swinging back as this will go with his action body pose. Don't forget to draw in the detailing to add texture to the sleeve.
11
You can see how bony his hand is in this step because here is the hand in a flat open pose. The fingers are skinny and short, and the knuckles should be prominent.
12
There is a gear attached to Mad Hatter's back so you will have to draw in this grinding gear like so.
13
Once the spiny gear is drawn in you can sketch out the body. This should include the pelvic area and there should also be a belt going down the middle of the stomach.
14
Almost done with the drawing folks. Draw the long sharp lined leg, then draw in his foot. Add the wrap on the shoe like you see here and line the inside of the thigh.
15
For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw the other leg, and then the other foot. Erase the mistakes and you are done.
