How to Draw Lord Monochromicorn, Lord Monochromicorn

Artist: Dawn / August 31, 2011

Step 1.

Make a circle for the body shape, and then draw a guideline for the neck and at the end of the line draw another round shape for the head guide.

Step 2.

Here you will start drawing out the ears, and then draw in some of the bangs which is part of the mane. Don't forget to add that small horn.

Step 3.

Now as you can see you are getting further along to completion. Draw out the snout, and then draw the jaw line which is round or crescent shaped. Sketch in the detailing for the ears, and then add a nostril hole.

Step 4.

Continue to sketch out the long bushy mane that flows or grows down his back. The mane should be drawn in a rough manner so keep that in mind as you tackle this step.

Step 5.

Sketch out the neck which flows into the chest and front legs. As you can see this version of Ranicorn is much more horse like than her original self.

Step 6.

Instead of drawing out a back part of the body, you will draw out a snake like body which is curling onto itself.

Step 7.

Finally for the last drawing step all you have to do is draw out the back end of the horse and then draw in the legs and tail. Once you have finished make sure that you go over the drawing to clean up your work.

Step 8.

This is the final drawing when you are all done. Color him in and you have just created an awesome character from the Adventure time series.

Description: Remember when I uploaded those tutorials on the gender switched characters from Finn and Jake? Well today I have some more drawing fun because I will now teach you "how to draw Lord Monochromicorn", step by step. As I stated before, Lord Monochromicorn is Rainicorn as a male. Instead of being a long style type f unicorn species, the male version looks more like an actual unicorn. In her male form she is majestic and is all black in color. Monochromicorn also keeps its feminine side by sporting a gray colored mane. The body is long like a Chinese dragon, and the reason why he or she is labeled with the name, is because Lord Monochromicorn is designed in an all monochromatic color scheme. He is an awesome horse creature to draw, and if you are one of the millions of people that enjoy watching Adventure Time with Fionna and Cake, you will also love this tutorial on drawing Lord Monochromicorn too. I do have one more gender swapped character to upload so if you want to see who it will be, be sure to stay tuned in.
