How to Draw Lions
1
When you start this tutorial keep in mind that you will be drawing several different lions at one time. If you only want to draw one, two, or three lions that is your choice and you can do that as well. Start by drawing circles for the heads and then
2
In this step you will start sketching out the shape of their snouts, and eyes as you see here. On the one lion from the side, draw the muzzle shape in length, and then draw the lining for the ear.
3
Now you can start sketching out the manes on the lions, and then finish drawing in the eyes on some of the lion faces. Next draw the shapes of faces, ears, mouths, and even draw lion teeth. Take your time as you sketch out these lions.
4
Continue to draw lions manes and then sketch out the legs, fur on the hind calf's, and then sketch out the paws. You will then draw the eyes for the other lions and then you can move to the next step.
5
For your last drawing step, you can finish sketching out the eyes, manes, and then color in some of the pupils. You can then finish drawing out the legs for the other lions and then start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step on

Description: “Lions, and tigers, and bears, oh my!” Those are the top three feared animals in existence, (at least in my eyes), and they are also some of the more popular animals to draw. I wanted to do a tutorial on “how to draw lions, step by step”. Lions are one of my favorite animal species of cats that I grew up loving, and learning about. Not only is the lion "king of the safari", they are also one of the oldest and celebrated animals. There are also so many mythical creatures that have been intertwined with the lions body and or features. For instance a griffin has feet, and a tail that looks very much like a lions. I drew this tutorial live yesterday and it was so incredibly fun. I had such an awesome time drawing lions yesterday, and I can't wait to draw live again today. The main picture that I drew and colored is my favorite out of the bunch. You will learn how to draw lions in a very simple and easy manor and the best part is, there is several different lion figures that you can choose from to draw. Some of the lion heads resemble people that we know or look at. For instance, the lion with the long straight mame covering his right eye, is supposed to represent an emo lion. Look at the lions to see if you can guess what they are supposed to represent. In the mean time, I have to get going so that I can submit more lessons for you all. Have fun learning "how to draw lions, step by step”. Peace people, and happy drawing.
