How to Draw Johanna Mason from Catching Fire
1
The first thing you need to do is draw out the guides for the head and torso. Once that is finished you can sketch in the facial guidelines and attach the two shapes with a neck guideline.
2
You will now sketch out the shape of her face like so, and as you can see it should be drawn on a 3/4 style. Add the shape of the neck, then move to step three.
3
Use the facial guidelines to draw out the shapes of the eyes. When that is done you can add the lashes, then draw in one eyebrow. Make sure the lining is thick.
4
Sketch in the other eyebrow, then draw the eyeballs. Color the pupils, then sketch in the nose, mouth and lips. She has an intense look on her face. Detail the lips and nose.
5
The next thing you will do is sketch in the shape of her head which also happens to be her hairstyle. Add the layers of hair that fall on the side of her face, then move to step six.
8
Lastly, create the arm by drawing the shoulder, sleeve lining and shirt detailing or seam lines. Erase the mistakes and guidelines that you made along the way.

Description: A couple people asked if I could make a tut on another character from Catching Fire and one of those people was my little sister. To start the tutorial day I will be showing you "how to draw Johanna Mason", step by step. Now since I didn't read the books or watch the movie, I don't have good bio information for Johanna. I do know from my sister that she was one of the youngest tributes in the Quarter Quell and is from District 7 I believe. Anyways, if you are familiar with Johanna Mason you should enjoy this lesson. I will be back in a bit with other requests so stick around.
