How to Draw Fantasy Chibi Characters

We will draw a few shapes for the unicorn and princess. The third shape is for the unicorn's body. Sketch in the facial guidelines as well.

We will work on their face shapes first. Start with the unicorn by drawing the forehead, muzzle and then the chin. When that is done define the shape of the princess's face and then draw in the hair. You will also need to draw the horn too.

Draw in the princess's big bright eyes as well as her chibi mouth. Add some bold coloring for the lashes and then proceed to step four.

Continue to work on the princess by drawing the rest of her hairstyle. This should be parted and very fluffy or full of body. Add strand detailing or lines and then draw in a leaf in her hair.

Now you can work on the unicorn's mane. Draw in the mane and make sure it matches the same style of the rider's hair. Add detailing to the mane and then draw in the ears. You will also draw in big bold eyes for this unicorn too and then some blush ma

Add definition to the horn and then the rest of the mane.

Begin drawing the clothing for your rider or princess. She is wearing a typical princess dress so go ahead and add that now.

Draw out the unicorn's body completely. This should include the legs, body and the saddle. Don't forget to add the lining for the hooves too.

Okay folks, draw in the unicorn's tail and add detailing to complete this concept. Erase the mistakes and all the guides too.

Description: Okay guys, I hope you are ready for a fantasy inspired lesson. I combined two different types of fantasy figures in this tutorial which is the unicorn and an ice princess. The concept is pretty basic, but it's also very colorful and pretty at the same time. Of course you can choose to turn this ice princess into an elf or warrior, it's really all up to you. For me an ice princess riding on the back of a unicorn is so enchanting that I had to combine the two creatures. Anyways, have fun, and remember that you can alter your character's to look like anything you want.
