How to Draw Edward Elric Easy, Full Metal Alchemist

Since Edward is going to be drawn as a close up image, you will need to start by drawing a medium sized circle shape then sketch in the facial guidelines.

This step will be solely on getting Edward's hairstyle drawn out. The best place to start is at the top by making pointed arches. When that is done you can continue drawing his style by making some parted bangs, as well as lots of chunks and points.

Instead of drawing the face shape first, we will get his eyes drawn in as well as the nose and the first line to creating the mouth.

Draw a hairline at the forehead like so, then draw in the eyebrows as well as the rest of his anime style mouth which is I think one of the best parts to Edward's face. Add some detailing such as the pupils and nostril arch.

Description: I have some really exciting lessons for you all today that is going to be super fun and really cool. I will start by uploading this tut on "how to draw Edward Elric easy,", step by step. Now before you say anything about me uploading more 'easy' based lessons, you have to understand that folks have been requesting the ones I will submit today on a regular basis. I can't just ignore what people want even if it does take me forever to finally submit. Anyways, this lesson was really fin to create because Edward Elric is a cool looking character. The anime and manga series has been around for a while which means there is a large fan base for this character as well as other figures from the series. I wanted to make sure that a lot of people would be able to tackle such a tutorial so I laid out the lesson as easy I possibly could. Hopefully you will be able to draw Edward Elric using this easy to follow lesson. I do have a regular tutorial on Edward, but it is from a while ago so it won't be as vivid or good as this one you see here since my drawing technique has improved over the years.
