Description: Hello everyone and welcome back to another fun filled drawing lesson here on DragoArt.com. Today I am going to do a tutorial on a character that my dad said I should do which may or may not be popular with anyone that visits here. I will be showing you how to draw Darth Maul from Star Wars step by step. For all of you die hard Star Wars fans and even the ones that just simply love this George Lucas legacy creation, this will be a very sweet lesson to try and accomplish. Now I don’t know too much about this character all I can tell you about him is what I learned from the movie and from what I have read about him very briefly online. From what I gathered, Darth Maul was taken from his mother at a very young age by a guy named Darth Sidious from his homeworld of Iridonia. Darth Maul was a Zabrak and this race inhabited the planet of Iridonia. It was Darth Sidious who taught Maul the way of the dark side of the force. He became a very skilled Sith and was recognized as being the trained product of the dark side force. For those of you that don’t know what a Sith is let me explain. The Sith Order was a group of dark side force users that wanted nothing more than to destroy and disassemble the Jedi and gain power. Maul wasn’t born a Sith he was indoctrinated by Sidious until he loved the dark person that he was trained to be. Darth Maul also underwent tattooing ceremonies where Darth Sidious marked his entire body with tattoos including his face. He normally has a red body and face with small horns around his head. His weapon was a double-bladed lightsaber that was red in color. In the movie he is seen killing Liam Neeson who plays Qui-Gon Jinn in the movie “Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace”. I loved this part of the Star Wars series and I know you will love learning how to draw Darth Maul from Star Wars Episode I step by step. The instructions are very easy to follow and the steps are simple to understand. I will be back in a while with more drawing fun so stay tuned gang I will be back momentarily. Peace out people.
