How to Draw CUL, Vocaloid

Draw the circle for the head, then draw the shape of the torso. Add the facial guidelines, then move to step two.

Draw the bangs, and side of the hairstyle so that CUL has a full head of hair. Draw in the ear, then move along to step three.

Sketch out the shape of CUL's face like so, then draw in the large wide open eyes, as well as the mouth, nose and blush marks on the cheeks. Draw the microphone on the left side of the face before leaving step three.

Here you will draw out her long, straight, spiked ponytail as it stands stiff to the side.

Draw the neck, shoulders, jacket collar, and her chest and arm. Be sure to detail where needed.

For the last drawing step you will draw the tourniquet like top followed by the detailing to her torso, choker, and all the detailing trim on the jacket. Erase the mistakes and guides like so until you have a cleaned drawing.

This is what your drawing looks like now that you are done. Color her in, then you're done.

Description: I think I'm going to give making Vocaloid characters a rest of a while because I definitley don't want to flood the front page with too much of the same thing. Having said that, here is "how to draw CUL", step by step. For those of you that don't know, CUL was the mascot for Vocalo Revolution. She is voiced by Eri Kitamura, and the character design is simple but cute. She has red colored hair and she wears a black, red, and white ensemble that looks very much like a Japanese school girl in a leathery way. Her name CUL actually has two meanings. It's short for culture and Culnoza. Anyways, to me she is an interesting character to draw because of her simple look and bold appearance. I think you will enjoy drawing CUL.
