Chibi Dora is going to be easier to complete than Danny Phantom was. Begin by drawing a large circle for her head shape and then sketch in the facial, and body guidelines like so.

2

Next, simply darken the shape you made in step one and draw out the form of Dora's face. Draw in her straight cut chunky style bangs like so, and move to step three.

3

Using the facial guides, begin drawing out the large circles for her eyes, and then draw the eyeballs. Next, draw her excited mouth and or smile like so, and draw in her tongue.

4

Continue to draw out her head in the form of her bowl like hairstyle. The top of her head should be drawn to look like an M. Add some hair strands and then move along.

5

Okay guys, all you are going to have to do is draw out the small shaped baby type of body. The back is arched, and her legs are stubby. Draw her arm and pointed tips for the hands and fingers.

6

To finish Dora off, all you have to do is draw in her backpack, then draw the sleeve lines, pant lines, and draw in her laces on her sneakers. Clean up the drawing so you don't have pencil under your colors.

7

When you are done, you have something that is adorable and sweet. Color in Dora using her regular shades to finish her off. Great job guys!

Description: I told you guys that I had a total of two chibi characters that where going up today. The first was chibi Danny Phantom, and the next one is going to be on "how to draw chibi Dora", from Dora the Explorer. Someone left a comment on my Facebook page and said that, I managed to get even Dora look like a chibi. I mean think about it, we all know that she is sort of in chibi form already right? Well, if you shrink her body and give her a bigger head and eyes, you have yourself a bonafide chibi version of Dora. My little sister was watching Dora today and even though she is eight, she still enjoys watching the show even though she may say that it's stupid. You know how it is, once you get past a certain age, all the kiddie cartoons seem too kiddie for you, but deep down the eight year old still enjoys watching an episode of Dora or Wow Wow Wuzzby once in a while. Anyways, I have to run because I still have to get two more tutorials uploaded before the drawing day is done. So if you can, stay tuned into Dragoart.com to see what else will pop up new. Adios people!
