How to Draw Chibi Chewbacca

How to Draw Chibi Chewbacca

Step 1.


Let's get started. Begin by drawing a big circle for Chewy's head guide and then draw a teardrop shape for the body. You will then sketch in the facial guidelines.

Step 2.


Using the round shape you just made, go ahead and draw the actual shape and structure of Chewy's head. Notice the long shaggy hair is drawn in a thick and chunky manner.

Step 3.


Use the facial guidelines to draw the big eyes. Add the darkening around the eyes to make them appear sunken in a bit and then draw the eyeballs and pupils. Draw in the nose and mouth followed by the hairy chin. Sketch in the detailing to his hair to   

Step 4.


Begin the body by drawing the arms and hands. You can then start the drawing process to the creation of Chewbacca's weapon. It is drawn in a very simplistic manner.

Step 5.


For the last drawing step finish drawing chibi Chewbacca by adding the shape of the rest of the body which is the legs and feet. Add detailing to form the hairy texture of his body and then add some toe lines. Erase the mistakes and guides too.

Step 6.


That's it, you are all done. Now you can color chibi Chewbacca in to bring this Star Wars character to life.

Hey Dawn, not sure if you read comments, but I'm excited to see you're still updating pretty frequently on here! I used to frequent this site when I was in middle school, and it was such a big inspiration to me as I continued to learn how to draw. I also used to frequent the chats when they were alive too.
