Of course the first step is always about drawing out the guidelines and shapes to form a frame for Hook. Start with a small circle for his head and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw out the body's line of position as shown to you her

What you will start doing now is sketching out the shapes of some of Hook's body parts starting with the hats oversized feather. Next draw out the outline of his long wavy hair, face and then the lining for his overcoat. You will then draw the glove

Once you are finished with this step you will start noticing that Hook is coming along nicely. Finish off the shape of his hat and feather and then the rest of the lining for the shape of his face. You will then add the eyes and mouth definition, as

This is your last drawing step and all you have to do is draw out the rest of his open mouth and then his hair. Detail his coat by drawing out the strap and ruffled tie, and then draw out the shape of his hook, right sleeve, and sword blade. Finish o

That's it, you are done. All you have to do is color him in and you have a completed drawing of Captain Hook. I hope you had a lot of fun with this lesson, and yes I know the positioning of his feet are a little off that is something I have to fix. O

Description: Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone and welcome back to DragoArt.com a place where the drawing fun never ends. Everyone knows that I have a tutorial on how to draw Peter Pan and Tinker Bell right? Well, if I were to tell you that I was about to submit a lesson on Peter Pans rival character, will you be excited about that? Guess what kiddies, I am about to show you how to draw Captain Hook step by step. Who here loves this character from the age old story of Peter Pan? For me, Captain Hook is not only a pirate, he is also a very funny, very dominating animated character that leaves a stain on your mind whenever you watch the Disney cartoon. There have been a few adaptations and remakes of Peter Pan, but no other stands out more than the cartoon version from Disney. Of course the movie “Hook” was awesome as well and I would recommend that you watch this flick if you haven’t seen it yet because Dustin Hoffman did an awesome job playing the character of Captain Hook. Robin Williams plays the role of Peter Pan in a grown up version but he still did a very good job. One of my favorite words that Captain Hook always says is “Smee”. This is his first mate that Hook often takes his frustrations out on whenever he feels like he wants to kill somebody or something. Mr. Smee has to dodge knives being thrown at him as well as throat cutting threats that Hook is constantly lashing out at him. Of course Hook would be a better Captain if he wasn’t so obsessed with getting revenge on Peter Pan. The last fight the two had together, Hook lost his hand to a hungry crocodile that still haunts Hook every day. The crocodile is forever circling the ship waiting for the day that he will get to finish the angry captain off. No matter how you look at the situation, Captain Hook will not set sail to the open waters again until his plot to get revenge on Peter is accomplished. Unfortunately for his crew, this may never happen. I think Hook is one of the best pirate character that was ever created. This tutorial is going to show you how to draw Captain Hook step by step with detailed instructions and easy to follow steps. I will return later on today with a few more lessons for you all, but in the mean time try this tutorial on for size. Peace out people.
