How to Draw Belson from Clarence

Make two shapes, one for his head and another for the body. Sketch in the facial guidelines and be sure that the two shapes are connected.

Next, draw out Belson's face shape and also include the hair that lines or frames his face. Belson's hair is curly so you should make a wavy hair pattern.

Next, draw the straight thick eyebrow, and from that line draw in his eyes, nose and mouth. Notice how the eyes are attached to the nose shape.

Draw in Belson's curly locks like you see here.

Get started with drawing the body beginning with the arms and hands. Don't forget to draw the sleeves for his shirt too.

Cap off the end of the body by drawing the round torso which then turns into the legs and feet.

Lastly add the pant line and socks, then erase the guidelines you made in step one.

That's it, you have finished drawing Belson from Clarence. Now all you have to do is color him in. Great work people.

Description: Wow, that was tuft. I literally had to sit there and search all over the internet to find out this characters name from the upcoming animated cartoon series 'Clarence' which will be on Cartoon Network come April 14th of this year. I watched the piolt and so far it looks pretty good. This lesson is going to be on "how to draw Belson", step by step. The reason why I searched for this characters name is because when I typed in 'Benson from Clarence' in Google search nothing came up. Well needless to say I found out why there was no results. His name ended up being Belson not Benson. As you know every series has to have a bully. In this case that school bully is Belson. He has one uni-brow, a long nose and he is also a very pudgy kid that happens to come from a rich family. Even though Belson is a bully, he really does like Clarence even if he won't admit it directly. Anyways, that's all I can say about this character because that's all there is. I hope you have fun with drawing Belson. When you're done keep an eye out for more tuts coming your way.
