How to Draw Animal from The Muppets
1
Drawing Animal is going to be very easy. All you have to do is draw out a circle for the head and then add the facial guidelines. next draw a narrow body shape and then attach the limb guidelines as you see here.
2
You will now use the facial guidelines to draw out Animal's round eyes and add a colored in dot for his pupils. Sketch out the fury eyebrows, and then draw the round nose. Next continue to use the facial guidelines to draw out his big gapping mouth a
3
Start sketching out his wacky messed up animal like hair and head shape. You will then draw out the torn short sleeves and then move to the next step.
4
You can now draw out his curved arm shapes and then draw his hands and draw the drum sticks that he is holding.
5
Sketch out the rest of his torn shirt and then draw the shape of his belly and or waist. Draw the rope like belt and then detail it as well. Draw the shapes of his legs and then cap off the leg shapes with the ripped pant bottoms.
6
Here is your last drawing step and all you have to do is draw in Animals feet and the rest of his legs. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Description: Remember that show that aired on TV called “The Muppet Show”? Well there was a character that didn’t say too much but he was getting increasingly popular with pop culture. Today this red haired puppet is seen printed on shirts, posters, stickers, and even magnets. Of course I will tell you who it is that I am talking about, and who it is your going to get a lesson on. I will be showing you “how to draw Animal from the Muppets step by step”. There really isn’t too much information on Animal except he is the drummer and belongs to a band named “Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem”. His speech is very muffled and sounds more like a series of shouting words that is only understood by Animal and Kermit. There is however a few words that he will say sometimes like “beat drums!” and “wo-man!”. I think he is an epic character from the show and over the years he has become what you call a wild animal. I have a shirt that has him on the front and it reads “born to be wild”. He has three tones of music that you her the most coming from his drum set; loud, louder, and loudest which usually means your hearing is pretty much damaged permanently. The voice and puppet talent for Animal came from the very popular Frank Oz. He stated that the character of Animal was categorized in three words; sex, food, drums, sleep, and pain. I don’t watch the Muppet Show now, but my mother used to put it on for me when I was like six years old. I think you guys will like this lesson on “how to draw Animal from The Muppets step by step”. I have to leave once again but there is still two more tutorials coming your way. I used a reference picture to draw Animal out and I made sure that I chose the most active pose I could find on him. Okay gang, peace out and happy drawing!
