Now draw out the spiders other eyes, and then draw the shapes of the mandibles like so. Next, draw the fangs close together.

Now draw the shape of the spider's abdomen, and then begin sketching in the small hairs on the edge of the abdomen as well. You will then draw the horizontal lines on the mandibles, and then move to step seven.

Now you can sketch out the first two front legs like you see here, and then draw out the second upper thigh of the spider's leg too.

Now you can continue to draw out the other three legs like you see here, and be sure that there is a bot of shapely contouring to the legs as well. Spider legs are not perfectly smooth and straight.

Now you have to finish off this spider's legs like so, and then draw in the fine little hairs on the legs, and then draw the horizontal lines on his legs too. Erase the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one, and then move to step eleven to

Description: I know that Finalprodigy submitted an awesome lesson on a realistic type of spider, and he did a fantastic job with his sketch. He was really detailed and very thorough with his art like always. Anyways, you guys know that I have drawn my fair share of spiders, and even though there is more than anyone needs, I still think that a good tutorial on a simple spider could be useful once in a while. Today I will be showing you all "how to draw an easy spider", step by step. Drawing spiders can be somewhat difficult to draw, but I made sure that everyone would be able to tackle this lesson.
