How to Draw an Angel on a Swing
1
First things first. Start off by making the guides for the angel. This should include the body and head shapes as well as the guidelines for the face and limbs.
2
You will use the face guide to draw out the actual structure of the face and then draw in the face. The big eyes are closed with long lashes and the lips are relaxed. Draw the hairline and the ear as well as all the detailing to the face.
3
Next, tackle the upper body starting with the neck and shoulders. The dress will also be drawn in which will give you the shape of the upper body. Short sleeves and a simple style dress.
4
Go ahead and draw in the arms and hands. As you can see the arms are stretched across as she is holding on to the rope of the swing. When that is done you can draw the big tied bow around the waist.
6
Now you will draw in the rest of her hair which is blowing in the motion of moving back and forth on the swing. Lastly for this step is you will draw the big wide spread wings. Add definition and detailing to the hair and wings.

Description: Hey folks. I have some really cool concept art that is about to be uploaded and I want you all to try and leave some comments to let me know if you are enjoying the lessons I submit and I would also like for you to leave me some requests if you are looking for a lesson on a specific character or other form of drawing tutorial. Now having said that, here is my take on how to draw an angel on a swing, step by step. This idea came from a concept that I seen in a tattoo parlor. Of course the tattoo image was much more sexual and provocative. I took it down a big notch and created something playful and dreamy. I do hope you enjoy this lesson on drawing an angel on a swing. I had a lot of fun creating her and I think you will too.
