Step 1.

Start off by drawing the shape or guide for your walnut. Next, sketch in the facial guideline, then move to step two.

Define the shape of the walnut like so, then add some layers of shell at the base of the nut.

Next, add some lumps and bumps to add texture to the surface of the walnut.

Lastly, draw in the eyes, color in the pupils, then draw the small mouth. Erase all the mistakes.

I have a lot of fun with this figure because when it comes to drawing walnuts, there is no better nut to draw than the ones from Plants Vs Zombies.
