1

Begin with a small oval shape for Anubis' head or face and then draw the one shape for the side design of this tribal art concept.

2

Using both guide shapes begin drawing the head and snout of Anubis' look. You will also draw in the pointed ears and then some of the neck.

3

Next, all you have to do in this step is draw the eye which is pretty long.

4

You will now draw out the sides of Anubis to finish off the design shape. When you are done with that move to step five.

5

Once you erase the guidelines and mistakes, you can start drawing the tribal work to end up with a drawing like you see here.

Description: I stumbled upon a tattoo concept today and it led me to the creation of this drawing that you see here. Today, I will be showing you how to draw a tribal Anubis tattoo, step by step. I am one that loves anything from Egyptian history, myth or even lore. This Anubis drawing really came out perfect in my eyes. It has the right amount of detailing to really make it stand out on skin. I can totally see this tribal Anubis tattoo on someones shoulder, leg, back, chest or arm. A smaller version may even look good on a hand as well. Anyways, just have fun drawing this tribal Anubis even if it is in tattoo form. Adios amigos!
