Step 1.

Well lets start this first step by drawing out the shape of the tiki face. As you can see the face is shaped like a wide banana. Draw out the shape of the mouth and then add the facial guidelines as seen here. Once you are done move onto the next ste

Step 2.

In this next step you will start shaping out the actual shape of the tiki face. You will then draw out the shapes of the eyes and then sketch out the structure of the flared looking nose. Outline the mouth to add more definition ad detail. Make a ver

Step 3.

This next step is all about adding detailing definition. What you will do now is draw an outlining line around the eyes and add some definition lines to the nose. You will then give this tiki face some predominate looking teeth including some fangs.

Step 4.

Well you are on the forth step and that can only mean one thing, you are almost done with this lesson. What you will do now is start sketching in the detailing lines on the face to emphasis the look of a wooden face. Once that is done detail bits of

Step 5.

This is your last drawing step and what you will do is first erase some of the visible guidelines that you drew in step one. Next add the rest of the wood lining like you did in step four. Once that is done you are pretty much all done.

Step 6.

This is what your finished drawing of a tiki face should look like. Now that your sketch is done you can start coloring it in. You have just learned how to draw a tiki face step by step. I hope that you had a butt load of fun with this lesson.

Description: Well yesterday I submitted a few tutorials that were odd and cool at the same time. My favorite was the Imp because I think he came out wicked cool. In this next tutorial, I will be showing you how to draw a Tiki mask step by step. The reason why I chose to do this face mask design is because my cousin recently gave my uncle a tattoo of a Tiki mask on his back in the middle up near the back of his neck. He got the tattoo because he is going to be spending the next three years in Hawaii and he thought that if he got a native marking on his body, the Hawaiian people would accept him more. I think that is so stupid because first of all I think that Hawaiians are friendly people. For those of you that have no idea what a Tiki mask is and what it is used for I will fill you in on some brief information. First off the word Tiki is a name given to large carvings of humanoid shaped faces made from wood from Polynesian cultures of the Pacific Ocean. The large wood carvings are made to mark sacred sites that are spread out on islands and villages of the Polynesian people. This sketch was drawn with a lot of effort and I hope you will all like learning how to draw a Tiki mask step by step. Over time there have been several manufactures that sell items like Tiki mugs and the ever popular Tiki lights that are used in the summer to ward off mosquitoes. Anyway I think you will enjoy this lesson on how to draw a Tiki face step by step. I will be back soon with more drawing fun in a while so stay tuned folks.
