Here is a really nice sketch of the snowy owls head from different angles. As you can see the bird looks very different when viewed from either sides.

Here is a sketch of how the snowy owl's legs and feet look when you are going to draw them in. Notice how the claws are very arched making it easy for the owl to clutch it's prey.

Now it's time to draw out the snowy owl in flight. Stare by making a circle for the head, and then draw out the body which looks like a tooth. Add the facial guidelines and then the guidelines for the wings like you see here.

Begin sketching out the actual shape of the snowy owl's body by connecting the lines. Once the body is drawn out, you can draw in the lining for the thigh, and eyes.

Finish drawing out the owl's eyes, and then draw out the beak and some of the detailing that frames the face around the beak, and mouth like so. Be sure your owl looks like the one you see here before moving to the next step.

You will start sketching out the thighs, and the legs like you see here. When you finish drawing out the legs you will need to sketch out the owl's tail which is a bunch of feathers in a perfect display.

Well guys you are almost done with your drawing lesson, and as you can see the most exciting part is now here. You will begin sketching out the snowy owls wings which is spread out in a pose of a flying display. Take your time because you want to mak

For the last drawing step, all you have to do is draw in the spots on the head and back like so, and then draw out the owl's claws or feet like so. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up your drawing.

Here is what your drawing looks like when you are all done. Now you can go ahead and color in the owl. I know you must have done a great job teaching yourself how to draw a snowy owl.
