How to Draw a Simple Penguin

Very simple lesson here. Start with an egg shape and draw in some guidelines.

Using the guides, you can draw out the shape of the penguins body outline and add the fins or flippers or arms or whatever you want to call them. Add the cute tuft of fur at the top of the head too.

Draw out the feet.

Now draw in the eyes, nose and mask around the face as well as the lining on the belly. Erase the mistakes and you're done.

Color in the simple penguin and show off your drawing.

Description: I'm really loving all these drawing tutorials on some basic animals that we all know and love. Some of which are typically harder than others are now being done in a basic, simple drawing style so you can start to become the best artist you can be. Here is my take on how to draw a simple penguin, step by step. The whole idea is to create animals or concepts that are so basic in style, that ANYONE can draw them with ease.
