How to Draw a Shark
1
As you can see there are three major parts to a sharks face, the lifeless eyes, the nose, and the jaw.
2
When drawing a shark this is how they should come out looking when you sketch them from a front facing view. As you can see the body seems rounder then normal, and the dorsal fins are spread apart.
3
Did you know that sharks have two rows of extremely sharp teeth. The teeth of a shark are made to rip, shred, and tear anything it puts it in its mouth apart.
4
Start with an egg shape for the head of the shark, and then draw out the cone like shape for the body.
5
Now you will begin sketching out the head, nose, and bottom jaw of the shark like you see here. Take your time, don't rush.
6
Okay, now draw out the simple circular eye, and then draw out the lining for the top part of the mouth and then sketch in the nose holes.
7
Now that the front part of the shark is all drawn out, you can now sketch in the sharp teeth, and then draw out the dorsal fin, and pectoral fins like so. The side of the shark also needs some gills.
8
Here you will draw out the rest of the sharks body and as you can see it should be sketched out on an angle. The back end of the fish looks smaller then the front. Draw out the shape of the tail fin, and the rest of the detailing anatomy of the shark
9
Now for the last drawing step all you have to do is sketch out the marking lines that create the two toned effect that all sharks have.

Description: I thought it was high time that I made a tutorial strictly on "how to draw a shark", step by step. Drawing sharks can be hard if you are going in knowing little or nothing when it comes to creating fish and other sea life. The lesson I created for you includes some helpful tips that will make it that much easier when it comes to creating a shark in detail. I will add some rough sketches that will include a front view of the shark, some simple anatomy, and the teeth and jaws to one of the most dangerous fish that is feared more than any other creature that dwells in the sea. The steps are going to be rather easy for such an informative lesson. The species of shark I used is a great white because that is the king of all sharks if you ask me. Anyways I think you will enjoy this tutorial on "how to draw a shark". I will be back soon with some more drawing fun in a few. Thanks guys for joining me today, and be sure to join me every day!
