Now you will begin sketching out the shape of the head and face. Most pharaohs where bald or had very little hair. Once the shape of the head and face are drawn, you can begin sketching out the shoulders like so and make sure they are broad.

Description: There have been so many different types of Egyptians over time that has made history. In the past I have drawn a few Egyptian figures, but today I just wanted to show you guys "how to draw a pharaoh", step by step. This is going to be a really easy tutorial to follow because the character is drawn in a cartoon style mixed with some anime body anatomy and detailing. Pharaoh’s where considered to be the most powerful people in Egypt. They were the ones that set rules, laws, regulations, and they were also the religious leaders back in those days as well. There is so many unanswered questions that researchers have nowadays about how pharaohs ruled their kingdoms. I for one stay fascinated to this day when it comes to ancient Egypt, and how the pharaohs ruled. These rulers are best described as wearing the Nemes which is a headdress, a false beard made from gold, and an ornate kit. They are usually also seen holding scepters and staffs, and they did this to show their position of authority. The name Pharaoh means “great house”. Here are names of some of the world’s greatest reigning pharaohs; Akhenaten, Amenhotep III, Cleopatra VII, Hatshepsut, Khufu, King Tut or Tutankhamun, Ramses II and of course Snefru. The last Pharaoh I named is responsible for a majority of the pyramids that are in ancient Egypt today. Anyways this lesson is going to help teach you "how to draw a Pharaoh". You can choose to make your Pharaoh someone from history, or you can just draw this Egyptian figure for fun. I have to go but I do still have one more tutorial to upload. Have fun and keep those requests coming.
