Okay now in this next step you will start drawing out the long oval like shapes for his tail feathers and then a puffy looking behind feather shape. Once that is done draw out the actual shape and thickness of the birds body and then draw out his leg

You are already on your third step which means you are almost done. What you will do next is draw out and add more feather shapes as shown to you here and then give this peacock a cute beak and wide open eye. Add three curls on his head and then move

Wow you are already on the fourth step which means you now only have two more steps to go. What you will do here is add another set of feather shapes which are larger then the other two sets you drew previously. Once that is done you will then draw o

Well you have done it! You are now on your last drawing step and what you will do now is draw out all the remaining feathers that are called the "eyes". This is very easy to do. All you have to do is draw straight lines coming from behind the peacock

Description: So far today I have shown you how to draw Taz from the Looney Tunes series and anime people kissing. For my third tutorial I will be showing you "how to draw a peacock", step by step. The peacock is a very wonderfully beautiful bird that has style and grace. These birds believe it or not are fairly large and have been known to be kept as pets. The feathers of this bird or pheasant are typically blue and green with unique markings around the “eye” part of their feathers. The colors combined on a peacock’s tail are swirled together like a big bright rainbow after the rain falls. The “eye” has a combination of gold, blue, red, yellow and other colorful hues that make this birds tail very distinct and beautiful to look at. In all reality the word “peacock” is given to the males and the females are called peahens. When referring to both male and female while conversation the proper way to refer to them is “peafowl”. The tall expandable feathers of the tail make up more than sixty percent of the birds size. They expand their tails in a fan like position when they are calling to females to mate. I guess you could say that this is their way of impressing the ladies. When the peacock’s tail is full arched and erect, the feathers touch the ground on both the left and right sides. Females choose their partner by the size, color, and train of the male bird. When a peacock’s tail is folded it is called a “train” just like you would call the end of a brides dress. Did you know that there are three different types of peacock species? It is true there is the blue peacock which is found in India and Sri Lanka, and then there is the green peacock which inhabits Java and Myanmar and lastly the unfamiliar Congo peacock that resides in the rain forest of Africa. The common species that has been most popular to man is the blue peacock and it is with these birds that we find fascination and curiosity toward them. The average body weight and height of these pheasants run between thirty five to fifty inches with a five foot tail, and they weigh between nine to fourteen pounds. They typically eat insects, plants, and small creatures which make them omnivores and when in flight the peafowl are considered to be one of the largest flying birds when the length of its train and its large wingspan are combined. This is truly a beautiful specimen of a bird and this tutorial will show you how to draw a peacock step by step. I made this version super easy but also gave him the awesome colors of his tail. I hope you enjoy this lesson, and I will be back again with more drawing fun.
