How to Draw a Graffiti Word

We will begin the first step with just a simple, single line art style spelling out the word 'SYKE'. Once this is complete, move to step two.

We will start drawing the graffiti style word beginning with the letter S.

You will finish the shape of the S, then move to step four where you will begin another letter.

Okay, we should be able to draw the letter Y in one step. This should look long and swooshy.

The letter K is next and we will break this letter down into three steps. Start with the top shapes of the K like so. They should be parallel to one another like bunny ears.

Next, draw the left leg of the K like so. If you look closely it looks like a MLP hoof.

Finish your K like so, then proceed to step eight.

Finish off the word by drawing the uppercase E and you are done here. Erase the guidelines inside each block letter.

For the final step you will draw in the shading blocks and then the gloss effect lines on all four letters.

Pick your colors and add some bright life to this graffiti word SYKE.

Description: Let's go a little more bold and do a style that is more slangish in style then it is meaning wise. We as human beings or people use words in all different types of phrases and verbal style that you can literally tell which era the word slang came from and how it was spelt in graffiti style when seen on billboards, walls, cars, buildings or what have you. Of course you can choose your own colors, I just liked how this shade stood out behind the brick wall colors. Anyways, have fun and good luck.
