Step 1.
The first thing you will do is draw out the shape of a simple rounded house. Draw the pitched roof, then draw the circle for the lollipop.

Step 2.
Begin drawing the roof in better detail. The icing drips down the ends of the roof just like icicles would when snow and rain freezes. Add some of the candy to the roof.

Step 3.
Next up, draw in the chimney like so, then draw an overhand around the rim of the stack. When that is done I chose to add some candy canes shooting from the stack. Add more small round candies like so.

Now the decorating begins on the roof. Add some Skittles or gum drops in rows on your roof, then when that is done draw a circular shape for the wreath or window.

Step 5.
Next, sketch out the thick column like edges for the house's structure, then when you are done you can move to step six.

Draw the beads along the base of the house, then draw a door and the icing dripping down the door. Above the door add more candy, then add some stripes on the posts.

Step 7.
All that is left to do now is draw the walkway that leads to the front door, then draw in the swirl style lollipop on the front lawn. Erase the mistakes and guides then you are done.

Step 8.
Depending on what your gingerbread house was decorated like, your drawing should come out looking like this. Color in your house and you are done.

Description:
I think it's time for a new lesson on what kids love to do (including myself) during the holiday months. Up next, we will learn "
how to draw a gingerbread house
", step by step. Now you may want to decorate your gingerbread house using shapes of your favorite candies. The ones I used are some of my favorites like Skittles, candy canes, and small jawbreakers. The traditional types of candy is gum drops, peppermints, M&M's, and other gummie candies that are easy to stick to white icing. anyways, have fun with this tut, don't get too carried away when it comes to decorating your drawing of a gingerbread house. At least these houses are edible which means you can eat them or pick from then whenever you want.
