draw the rough guidelines for your gerbil.

draw the eyes. make sure they are like less-than or more-than symbols with a solid black, big pupil.

start to draw a detailed nose and the actual shape of the face.

start to draw the neck, ears and whiskers.

draw in the arms and body. If your gerbil looks fat, don't worry as this is only a very slight drawing and will be erased later.

draw the tail, stiff and winding around the body.

erase any outline and make sure that any parts that do not look right are rubbed out.

color in your gerbil. you're done!
