Step 1.


There are a total of six steps before you complete this lesson. You will begin this first step by drawing out the guidelines and shapes to form a frame of a body in action. You will draw the head first then add the facial guidelines. Next add the nec   

Step 2.


Now this is going to be easier than you think. What you will do first is draw out the shape of the legs and shoes as well as the thickness of the waist. Start sketching out the shaping of his arms and then add eye lines.

Step 3.


Now since a breakdancer usually wears baggy clothes to make dances more visually effective, you will start sketching out the shape of his pants as well as his loose fitting jacket. Continue to draw out the shape of his arms and then begin adding the    

Step 4.


You have now reached your fourth step and as you can see it wasn't all that bad so far was it? Lets start sketching in some more added detailing to the breakdancer's clothes shall we? First finish drawing out the sneakers and then detail them by addi   

Step 5.


This is your last drawing step and all you have to do here is just sketch in some more definition and detailed lines which is mainly the wrinkles and crease lines in his clothes. Add the detailing to the other sneaker and then finish off his face. Er   

Step 6.


This is what your breakdancer should look like when you are totally done drawing him out. All you have to do now is color him in and you have just learned how to draw a breakdancer step by step.

Description: The first tutorial I submitted was on “how to draw a frost wyvern step by step”. Let me take a different approach and do a lesson on how to draw a breakdancer step by step. Why did I choose to do a tutorial on a breakdancer you ask? Well for one, I was inspired to sketch out a figure that resembled one of these street dancers because of the movie I watched last night with my twelve year old sister called “Step Up 2”. Now I thought that the movie was going to be pretty lame, but I have to say the movie was quite good. What I liked most about this flick was the way these kids were dancing. I mean have you ever watched a breakdancer dance, it is so nasty and I mean that in a good way. Breakdancers are most famous for their skilled body movements like back-spins, head-spins, head-slides, windmills, the turtle, one handed hand-stands and other amazing moves that I am not yet familiar with. Break dancing became a growing sensation back in the seventies when African American along with Puerto Rican kids began freestyle dancing in the streets of New York to off beat erythematic beats known as mixes which was usually a combination of hip-hop, funk, pop, and even a bit of disco. People also call break dancing; breaking, b-boying, b-girling, and even body-rock. The skill of break dancing involves intense physical discipline as well as stability, and mental capability because if you think about it, you can’t train unless you are strong enough mentally to endure such strenuous activity. My father was a kid of the eighties and because of that he got involved with break dancing and he too eventually became a breakdancer that used to dance in the streets, sidewalks, parks, and driveways on large pieces of cardboard or linoleum with his friends. The art of break dancing also brought a fashion along with it like Kangol hats, windbreaker suits, old school Nike sneakers, British Knights, as well as Adidas. I will show you how to draw a breakdancer step by step with easy to follow steps and simple to read instructions. When you are done with the lesson you can color your dancer’s fashion with any color you like and you can even add your own shoe symbol on his sneakers. I will be back in a bit with more drawing fun so stay tuned gang there is more coolness on the way.
