Okay start by drawing a big square box and then add two vertical lines and then one horizontal line inside of the square box. You will then draw a horizontal line on the right side of the house with a slanted vertical line attached to the houses stru

You will now start drawing the edges of the roof as seen here and then draw the triangle arch that is off to the left of the house as seen here. You will add more lines to make the edging look like borders.

Now, draw a chimney on the roof and then draw a rectangle shape for the house window and than another window above the one you just drew. You will then draw another shape for the house door and then draw the front steps as you see here. Now draw a bo

Now you can start drawing in the detailing and definition lines that are associated with house window frames as you see here. Do this to all the windows on the house and then add a small window on the entrance door. Detail the top of the chimney and

You will now start drawing out all the shingles on the roof and then detail the tree. Draw out the trunk of the tree and then move to the next step.

Draw several horizontal lines for the shingles of the house and then add detailing to the tree's bark or trunk.

Add brick lines for the chimney and then draw the bushes on each side of the house. Draw a walk way and then start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

This is what your house should look like when you are done drawing it out. All you have to do is choose your colors and then color in your house. I hope you guys learned something new with this lesson on how to draw a "house step by step"

Description: This is what I wanted to do before I forgot to do it. And that was to submit a lesson on “how to draw a house step by step”. This is probably one of the first things every kid learns how to draw when given a handful of crayons and a few sheets of blank paper. The individuals that love drawing houses are called architects and what they do is draw schematics on different types of structures like cathedrals, mansions, executive buildings, and other great pieces done by great architects. Building houses can also be done by a bunch of carpenters and of course designers. My uncle is a carpenter and he has been building houses since he was sixteen and he is in his forties now. When someone wants to learn how to draw a house plan or drawing, they will usually look to drawing plans and instruction manuals. This is a very basic tutorial on a simple looking house that anybody at any artists skill level will be able to draw. I know that there are some of you out there that still may have trouble drawing a house even if it is just a square box. I have drawn a typical looking house with a walk way and even a nice oak tree. All the steps are drawn neatly and evenly and if you like you can use a ruler to make sure that your lines come out perfect. I will leave you to your drawing so I can upload more drawing fun.
