Draw Poppy From Trolls

We will begin the same way we always do and that is with guidelines and shapes for the Troll or for Poppy.

Up next, define the shape of Poppy's face and then draw in some of her hair.

You can now draw in Poppy's Troll ears and then draw the floral band around the top part of her head.

Continue on by drawing her hair in which is combed straight up with a fluffy or puffy tuft. When that is done you can draw in the face starting with the eyes. Draw the nose and her smile as well.

The face and hair is done for Poppy. What we will do next is draw the upper body starting with the arms and hands. Her left hand is resting on her waist. Draw the collar for her shirt and then you can move to step five.

For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw the legs and her feet. Erase the mistakes and all the guides then you're done.

That's it, you're all done. Now you can color Poppy in her pretty pink color.

Description: I'm sure plenty of you know about the new DreamWorks movie coming out this upcoming Friday called Trolls. Today I will be showing you all how to draw Poppy, step by step. She is sassy, spunky and full of energy. Today we will tackle this simple fun tut on drawing Poppy. She is one of the main characters of the series so be sure to look out for her when you see the movie on Friday. It's weird how characters are brought back to life that has existed since the early eighties. My mother told me she used to have a collection of Troll dolls and I was like, "ew, they are so ugly it's cute". Anyways, have fun with this lesson. I will be back with more tuts on Troll characters from DreamWorks so stay tuned in.
