Draw Branch From Trolls

Step 1.


Let us start with two guide shapes for the head and body like so, then sketch in the facial guides along with the body limb guidelines.

Step 2.


We will now form Branch's face by defining the face shape. Once that is done you can draw the ears and be sure to draw them slanted. Add detailing inside the ears too.

Step 3.


All you will do here is draw the hair. The hairstyle is also in an upright formation with a fluffy poof at the top.

Step 4.


Okay, now we can draw in the eyebrows, small beady eyes and then the fat wide nose and finally the simple line for the mouth. Add some crinkles to the ends of the eyes too.

Step 5.


Start drawing the body with a layered, scale like top. Continue this top until you have a similar drawing in front of you.

Step 6.


We can now draw in his arms and hands. Notice that they are thick and chunky. Draw the shorts and then you can proceed to step seven.

Step 7.


This is the last drawing step which means you have to draw in the legs and feet to complete Branch off. Add the indent to the tops of his feet and then the detailing on the pants. Erase your mistakes and you're done.

Step 8.


Once all is complete and the mess is erased the drawing of Branch from Trolls should look like the one you see here. Just color him in using a dark purple hue.

Description: Here is the second main character from the upcoming DreamWorks film 'Trolls' and I promise this will be a fun, simple lesson to follow. Today we will be leaning how to draw Branch, step by step. His character voice actor is actually one of my favorite performers and that is Justin Timberlake. I had a lot of fun with creating Branch because Justin Timberlake is his voice actor and because he is an interesting looking Troll. Anyways, don't forget to go out and see Trolls which will be in theaters this upcoming Friday. Be there or be a Troll. Adios amigos.
