Anime Style Frankenstein Drawing Lesson

Step 1.


The first thing we need to do is make the shapes and guides for your Frankenstein in anime form. This includes the facial guides and the shoulder/torso guides.

Step 2.


Up next, sketch out the shape of Frankenstein's face structure along with the ear and detailing inside the ear.

Step 3.


We will now draw the hairstyle which is a box style cut. Add the defined lining around the mouth along with the temple indents.

Step 4.


Now that the head and hair is all drawn in, we will now sketch out some of the facial features starting with the brow wrinkles, then the brows, eyes and nose. Add some real character to the face when drawing it out by sketching out the frown lines an   

Step 5.


The face is good to go. We will proceed on by drawing the bolts in the neck and then the actual shape of the neck. When that is complete, add the V shape for the opening of the jacket.

Step 6.


You are already almost done. Sketch out the wide shoulders and then his arms. When doing this the sleeves need to be defined since Frankenstein is wearing a dress coat.

Step 7.


You have finally arrived at the last step which means all you will be doing is drawing the final pieces to the drawing puzzle. Finish this anime Frankenstein off by drawing the tee and holes. Erase the mistakes and all the guides too.

Step 8.


That's it, you are all done. Add color to the whole art to really bring your anime style Frankenstein to life.

This concept may look complex, but in all reality its on a monster that will be pretty simple to replicate. The face, body and even bolts are drawn and placed in a manner that will be effortless to recreate when you tackle the tut.
