Sam Rutherford, How to Draw Star Trek Lower Decks

Begin with the basic guidelines and shapes for Sam.

Using the guides you just drew, go ahead and draw in the shape of the face, ear, neck and some of the hair.

You will almost finish the head shape, then draw in the eyes, brows, nose and mouth.

Cap off the head with the rest of his hair, then draw in the shoulders which is also the outline of the torso.

Tackle the left side first and draw the flap of the shirt, followed by the arm and pinstripe design for Sam's Star Trek uniform.

Finish the drawing by making the other side of his uniform design. Don't forget to draw the Star Trek pendant on his shirt. Erase the mistakes and any visible guides.

That's it, you're all done. Now you can color in the drawing.
