1

Make a circle for the ball, or Wilson's body.

2

On the sides of the ball you will draw in the seam lines that will make up the volleyball design.

3

Next, draw in the rest of the stitching that forms the look and texture of a typical volleyball like you see here. There are vertical and horizontal lines.

4

You will now draw in a hand print on the cover of the volleyball like so.

5

Next and lastly, draw in the eyes, nose and them the mouth. Erase whatever mistakes you made.

6

That's all there is to it. The line art should look like the drawing you see here. Now you can color in Wilson and show people who you just made.

Description: I know this seems like an odd lesson, but I thought this concept would be something some a few people would like and think is cute. Up next, we will learn how to draw Wilson the Volleyball from Cast Away. If you seen the movie that stars Tom Hanks, you should be familiar with the ball that he made to keep himself from going insane. Cast Away is by far one of my favorite films of all time. The isolation that the character went through was brutal, and when he did get saved, his whole life changed and was never the same. Wilson the Volleyball didn't make it to the end, but he helped Tom Hanks' character in so many ways. Have fun drawing Wilson folks and I will be back soon.
