Description: I know there are more than a few people that visit this website who look for an amazing tutorial to learn how to draw. In today’s tutorial I do just that. In the past I showed you all how to draw some pretty cool characters as well as dragons and a few weapons too. Two of my favorite drawings that I submitted on DragoArt are of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. I thought I would give you all a taste of what it’s like to live on the bad and dangerous side. So today I will show you "how to draw Megatron", the enemy of the Autobots. Megatron is the leader of the Decepticons and is probably one of the top leading characters that really does have that evil look. His teeth alone are scary enough they look like sharp razor knives from some kind of mechanical weapon. Anyways, Megatron is a descendant of the military hardware robots created by the Quintessons on their factory world of Cybertron. There has been a war between the Decepticons and the Autobots for years and will probably be at war with each other for all time. Megatron is a fierce leader with little or no sympathy for other living life form or for his own kind as a matter of fact. In the animated series there was an episode that showed how the Decepticons were defeated by the Autobots when they created the ability to transform into stealth machinery such as cars, trucks, planes, tanks, and other awesome camouflaged identities. In fact sometime later the Decepticons also developed the ability to transform into their own stealth like form. After this ability became available to them, Megatron formed a small group of troops together to launch an attack on the Autobots. It was this attack that led to the fall of the original leader of the Autobots. Of course other robots had no idea what had happened including Orion Pax who saw Megatron as an icon and role model. Pax eventually came to his senses and realized that Megatron was nothing more than a monster. It was Orion Pax that the old and wise Autobot Alpha Trion who worked his magic and reconstructed Pax into the new leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime. If you ask me when Optimus Prime was created that is when the animated series got good because you had these two awesome looking robots that battle it out against each other in an exciting way where it keeps you gripped to your seat. Not only are the two robot leaders cool looking, they also have incredibly strong and powerful names, Megatron and Optimus Prime. Wow, kind of blows your mind if you think about it. Megatron is one of my all time favorite villains and I think he is one of the meanest as well. In light if that I will show you how to draw Megatron from Transformers step by step. The instructions are pretty easy to read and follow but I have to warn you if you are not an experienced artist this tutorial may take you a long while to complete. But hey that’s the fun of it right. After all once you accomplish anything difficult in life you always cherish and appreciate the out come.
