How to Draw the Tool Puppet

Start by drawing the guide shapes for the head and torso like you see here.

Use the head guide to start drawing out the defined shape of the humanoid's head like you see here. Notice the crease lines throughout the whole style of the head and draw the brows in detail.

Sketch out the structure of the puppet's face. After you have done that, draw in the cheeks, nose and mouth.

Let's tackle the body next starting with the shoulders and arms. Add the detailing to the shirt and then proceed to step five.

Let us draw the legs and then draw in the cuffs or wrinkles at the legs and throughout the pants. When that is done draw in the hands in a very simple manner.

Let's finish off by drawing the feet and toes, you will also add the detailing on the top part of the foot.

Once you begin erasing the mistakes and all the guides, you should end up with a drawing like the one you see here. All there is left to do now is add some color.

Description: I might as well upload this lesson real quick before I get started with some of the other lessons I have in store for you all. I have been feeling really ghoulish lately so that will explain why I did the upcoming lessons that will be uploaded next. Before we get to those, let's learn how to draw the Tool puppet, step by step. This humanoid figure is dreary in design and has a real creepy style. I love every bit of the desgin and if you are a fan of Tool than you should love drawing the Tool humanoid figure as much as I did making it.
