How to Draw Crypt Keeper

Begin with a big circle for the head and then draw the facial guidelines as well as the guides for the arms and hands.

Here you will define the shape of Crypt Keeper's head and then begin the drawing process for the brows. Add the crinkle between the eyes or on the forehead like so.

You will draw the eyes in complete detail and then add the upper and lower lids. Color in the pupils and then you're done here.

Draw and define the cheeks then draw the jaw, nasal hole and then draw the crooked misshapen teeth.

Go ahead and draw the parted hairstyle which is thin hair and straight. Draw the ear and then add detailing to the hair which is the strand lines.

We will now draw the shoulder and first arm as well as the hand. Add detailing to the hand and shirt. Notice the lining for the book.

Complete the book and then draw the other hand. He also has a small rose clipped on his shirt or suit jacket.

All you will do here is draw the candle holder and then the burning candle which is almost burnt out.

We will now draw the bat winged desk and add the detailing to the desk as well.

Lastly, draw the rose bud and then the stem. Erase the mistakes and all the guides.

Description: Here is a character that I have never drawn in the past and I don't know if there are any lessons on this particular character either. As I look at the drawing and write out this description I am beside myself because I never thought to make a lesson on how to draw the Crypt Keeper from Tales from the Crypt, step by step. He is one of the most iconic characters from the 80s involving creepy tales from beyond the crypt. Crypt Keeper is a skeletal figure who is dead, but hosts a show from the crypt. He tells stories of various episodes that take place where people's lives eventually meet their demise. Anyways, go ahead and tackle this lesson.
