How to Draw the Sun

Step 1.


Draw a big round circle which is obviously the shape of your sun.

Step 2.


Now you will start drawing out the flames of the sun like you see here. When making this pattern be sure to try and stick with a tribal drawing style.

Step 3.


Repeat the same thing you did in step two and make sure that it is pretty close to the pattern on the right. When you're done you can move to the last step to see the finished results.

Step 4.

Description: Okay guys, I’m just about done with my tutorials for the day which means this is going to be one of my last. Where I live it has been either raining or snowing and today it started snowing again. I wanted so badly for the sun to come out it made me actually want to draw the sun. That is why I made this tutorial and even though I have a few sun lessons already, I just wanted to create a sun that was bright looking and big. The end results came out so awesome, I decided to make my happy drawing, a lesson. The sun is a natural source of vitamin D and without vitamin D you would be sluggish, lazy, and sad. Those are the feelings I felt when I was wishing that the sun would come out. Now that you know why I chose to upload this submission, I think it’s now time that you learn "how to draw the sun"", step by step. There is only a few steps until tutorial completion, which means you will not only be ready to color in your art, you will also use it in a scenery sketch or background image.
