How To Draw the Japanese Symbol for Love

Artist: xXMedicGirlXx / January 15, 2010

Step 1.

Draw the cross as shown here. Notice how the horizontal line is tilted and is NOT straight!

Step 2.

Draw in the first part of the symbol as shown. All the edges should be slightly curved, not straight and sharp, and the top two 'dots' and the one on the bottom are not connected.

Step 3.

Draw in the next three smaller parts. They are flowing and look like calligraphy, so they are not perfectly straight.

Step 4.

Here's the very last step! Draw in the bottom part that should be somewhat like an "X". Use the middle line for a guide as to how straight and curved it should be in the center.

Step 5.

Finally, this is how your symbol should look. That was simple, wasn't it? And now you are done! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial! ^__^
