How to Draw Stefano, Madagascar 3
2
You will use the shape you just drew in step one to sketch out the shape of the forehead as well as the sea lion's snout. Draw in the nose and then make sure there is a brow arch.
3
Using what you just drew in step two, begin sketching in the facial detailing like the nostril holes which are drawn in a swirl like action. You will then draw the split line coming from the base of the nose onto the lip, then sketch in the definitio
4
next, draw in the shapes of the eyes. Notice how each eye seems to be different shaped. This is how the character's face and expression was designed. Add a small ear and then proceed on.
5
Finish drawing the rest of Stefano's head, as well as the face. You will start with the back part of the head and then draw out the neck. Draw the bottom jaw, then add in the teeth, tongue, and the detailing inside of the mouth. As you can see Stefan

Lastly, draw the clown style collar around the neck which looks more like a ruffled ring. Sketch in the detailing along the edges of the collar, as well as around the neck. Erase the mistakes and guides before you leave this step.

Description: This is one of the last characters from the new Madagascar movie that I will be submitting. I might upload one more, but I don't know yet. Madagascar 3 is full of fun animals that we loved when we were growing up as children, and even though we're old, that doesn't stop us from loving all the same critters we used to wanna be as kids. Having said that, this lesson will show you "how to draw Stefano" who happens to be a sea lion from Italian decent. His voice is provided by one of my favorite amigos, Martin Short. I always like Martin Short no matter if he’s providing his voice talents, or playing a role in a movie. Two of my favorite movies that starred Martin Short are Inner Space, and Three Amigos. Anyways, Stefano is a happy go lucky fella that is always looking on the bright side of things even when things don’t look so bright. From what I gather, he too tries to convince Alex to somehow help them save the circus because like Stefano’s friends, he too loves entertaining and believes that even though things may seem rough, the show must still go on for the people’s sake. Stefano looks like he will be a very funny figure in the film, and I really can’t wait to watch Madagascar 3 with my little sister because she adores the other two. I had a lot of fun recreating this exciting looking character, so if you like drawing sea lions, you will love drawing Stefano too. I shall return with some more fun on the way so stay tuned in to see what it will be on. Peace people and like always, enjoy!
