How to Draw Skyward Sword, Skyward Sword

Step 1.

Begin with a simple dash for the base of the sword.

Step 2.

Using that one line, begin sketching out the shape of the sword blade tip first. Work your way down, and then draw in the hand guard which is very detailed.

Step 3.

Draw in the edges of the blade which will add sharpness and definition. Draw in the detailing to the hand guard as well.

Step 4.

Finnish drawing out the sword by sketching the handle and the rest of the guard. Draw in the end of the skyward sword, and proceed on.

Step 5.

All that is left to do is sketch out the swoosh or action static that is trailing along with the skyward sword. Once that is done erase the sketched lines that are not needed anymore.

Step 6.

That's all guys, you are all done. Now you can get busy coloring in this sketch to really finish it off.

Description: How many members or visitors here are massive fans to the Zelda franchise or game series? I know I have been playing Zelda since the regular Nintendo was a grey colored plastic box with a flap that opened to insert your cartridges in. The remotes where as simple as can be as they were made up of small rectangular boxes with four arrows, four red buttons, and two rubber buttons that where for ‘select and ‘start’. This tutorial is going to be on a sword that is almost always part of every Legend of Zelda story. I made this tutorial two days ago, but I am submitting it now. It is on "how to draw Skyward Sword", step by step. I know people like drawing weapons from our favorite games, and because of this I wanted to not only fill a request, but draw the very sword that is center object of the new story. Skyward Sword is being developed for the Wii, so if you are like me, you are waiting anxiously for the release of yet another Zelda game that will probably be as good as the rest too. Have fun you guys, and I know most of you will definitely enjoy this submission. Peace out and cheery oh!
