How to Draw Rentaro Satomi from Black Bullet

Start off with a head guide like so, then sketch in the facial guidelines. You will then draw the neck/shoulders next.

Sketch out the shape of his face which is structure nicely. When that is done you can draw in the bangs, and some of the hair that falls on the side of his face over his ears.

Before you draw out the rest of the hair/head, you will need to draw the thin eyebrows, and wide or long shaped eyes. The ends of the eyes should be thick or bold. Add a small dash for a nose, then draw in the mouth.

Now you can draw in Rentaro's head shape which is also his messy hairstyle. The style should have some layers and points.

Here you will add the shape of his neck, followed by the shirt collar and jacket flaps.

Define the shape of his shoulders, then draw in the rest of the suit jacket detailing. Don't forget to give Rentaro a tie. Erase the mistakes and you are done.

Description: Since there is already more then a couple lessons on some Black Bullet characters, I thought it would be a good idea to keep filling requests when they come in for more characters from the anime/manga. Up next we will tackle the task of learning "how to draw Rentarō Satomi". He is the main character of the series and much like a lot of anime/manga characters, he too has black colored hair and wears a black suit. Rentaro is a student at Magata High School and was adopted by the Tendō family. He has one leg, one arm, and one eye due to the fact that he lost them all during a battle with or fight with Gastrea. Of course the limbs he lost where replaced with new ones, and now he is on a forever mission to keep people safe from destruction of the Gastrea virus.
