How to Draw Rayquaza

Draw out the basic outline of the dragon body as shown. On the head, the V-shape is for the jaw. These guidelines will be in blue the entire time so that they are easier to see.

Sketch out the top of the head and finish the inside of the jaw. Be sure to add in the three 'horn' lines on the top and side of the head. Curve down into the body.

Draw out the teeth and gums inside of the mouth and then draw the eye socket. Begin to draw in more of the body around the blue guideline.

Draw in the arms. They should look slightly mechanical and the arm itself should be in three separate parts. the fingers should be shaped like rounded rectangles and the claws should have slightly rounded tips. Then add in a bit more of the body alon

Remember during this step that the body has to be the same width throughout the whole drawing. Try to keep all the lines in proportion so they don't look strange. Just draw in more of the body and design as shown.

Finish the end of the body and then draw the tail. At the end of the tail, there should be two right triangles on either side.

Erase all the blue guidelines and you know that you're getting closer to the end! :D Add in the double line design on all of the rectangle/triangle parts of the body/tail.
