How to Draw Onion from Apple and Onion

For Onion you will need to draw the shapes for the head, hands and feet then add the guidelines for the face and limbs.

Go ahead and draw the outline of Onion's body which kind of looks like a keyhole.

All you have to do here is draw in the arms and hands.

Now for Onion's face. Draw in the eyes, his eyeglasses and then the nose, mouth brows and root stem which acts as hair.

Lastly, shape out Onion's legs and give him a pair of feet in the form of sneakers. You will then erase the mistakes and guides as well.

You are now ready to color Onion in from Apple and Onion which airs on Cartoon Network.

Description: It's time to draw Apple's best friend, Onion from the Cartoon Network series, Apple and Onion. I can't believe it took so long to find out about these characters or even the show. I guess it's because I don't do a whole lot of t.v. watching anymore. Instead I spend my days drawing and creating new concepts. I have to remember that there are characters that kids like to draw from their favorite cartoons so that is why I chose to do this lesson on how to draw Onion, step by step. I think you will enjoy the tut, it's real simple so I know there will be no trouble with being successful.
