How to Draw Mordecai and Rigby as Gir and Zim

Step 1.


Let us begin. Make two circles for the heads, then draw out the shapes for each of their torsos. You will then add the limb guides for the legs and arms. Don't forget the facial guidelines as well.

Step 2.


Okay, now we will begin drawing out the head shapes for both Mordecai and Rigby. Since Mordecai is a bird you will need to draw in the beak. Sketch out the hair on Rigby's forehead, then color in his nose.

Step 3.


Next up, sketch out their eyes which are just simple circles, then draw in the markings on their face which gives them that two toned color. Add the mouths and teeth, then proceed to step four.

Step 4.


To dress Mordecai and Rigby up as Gir and Zim, you will need to draw the helmets or hoods that are part of their costumes. For Mordecai make the shape of Zim's head, then draw the large bug eyes as well as the antennas or feelers. You will then do th   

Step 5.


We will now focus on getting their bodies drawn out. Start at the base of the neck and draw the long costume which looks like a dress on Mordecai. Then draw in the whole suit on Rigby. Rigby's costume is a one piece while Mordecai's is a two piece. D   

Step 6.


You will now draw Mordecai's arms and Rigby's legs. Once that is done draw the tail, gloves, and then the zipper on Gir's costume. Finish things off by adding the remaining details. Erase the mistakes and guides then let's check out how the drawing l

Description: Here are two characters that you may recognize even if they are dressed up as two other cartoon figures that are very popular with folks around the world. I figured it would be a cool idea to draw two of Cartoon Networks favorite characters into other characters that we love. Having said that, here is "how to draw Mordecai and Rigby as Gir and Zim", step by step. Of course Mordecai had to be Zim because Zim is taller then Gir. Gir is the one that folks love most because he is so darn cute. Between Rigby and Mordecai I don't know which one I would consider cuddly cute. I think it would have to be Rigby hands down because he is more goofy and comical then Mordecai. Even though one may be smarter than the other, Rigby is my favorite of the two characters and so is Gir. I hope you enjoy another concept piece of Mordecai and Rigby as Gir and Zim.
