How to Draw Moltres

Good news, there is only going to be five drawing steps, and one line art step. Let's start by drawing a small circle shape for the head, and then add the one facial guideline and beak line. Next, draw a long neck line, and connect it to another larg

You will now begin drawing out the outline of Moltres's head, beak, and body like so. Once that is done you can then draw out the shape of the thigh, and then move to step three.

See how awesome Moltres is starting to look once this step is done. Let's make it happen and begin by drawing out the fiery outlined shape of it's head crest, and then the fiery uneven shape of the wings like so. Once that is done you can move to ste

You are almost done, and almost out of here. What you will need to do now is add a line for the beak to separate the mouth opening, and then draw in some minor detailing to the wing on the far left side. Once that is done you can continue to draw out

For you last drawing step, all you have to do is draw out the flaming tail, and then the rest of the thighs, legs, and feet. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one like so.

Description: There is said to be three legendary birds of Kanto as far as Pokemon myth goes. I’m pretty sure I uploaded lessons on both Zapdos, and Articuno, but I still have not yet submitted a tutorial on "how to draw Moltres", which is the third missing legendary bird. This is the last lesson for the day, and as you can see it is going to be quite fun to replicate. Moltres reminds me of a phoenix bird because of it’s fiery head, and flaming wings and tail. As you can assume, this Pokemon is from the flame species, and is also a fire/flying type. Unlike other regular Pokemon species, Moltres does not evolve into another species. Instead, it stays in the shape and form of an enormous bird that has fantastic coloring, and an impressive wingspan. The crest on it’s head is one of the captivating highlights to this birds genetic makeup. The beak is long, and brown, and it’s legs and feet are of the same color making Moltres a very color coordinated bird. Like with Raikou, this is also a genderless species. Moltres’s abilities are however quite impressive. With the flap of a wing, it is able to generate flames, and it is one of the few species to actually have the ability to use a very powerful move known as “Sky Attack”. As you can imagine the habitat for one of these Pokemon is of humid and hot regions, and the best place to find them would be near fully functional volcanoes. Any way you look at it, this is truly a remarkable species, and learning "how to draw Moltres" is going to be as easy as 1, 2, 3. Watch and see, you will be so happy once you have created one of the three legendary birds of Kantos. Well that’s it guys. It’s time for me to wrap things up, and hit the sack in a few. It was a fun day today, and I look forward to having another fun day again tomorrow. It feels great being back with all my friends, and fellow artists. Until next time Dragoart peeps, peace out!
