How to Draw Mao Mao

Step 1.


Since Mao Mao is in an active pose, you will need to start off with guidelines and shapes in their frame of motion pose.

Step 2.


Take the head guide and begin to define the shape of the head like so. Once that is done you can draw in the large ears and then add some whiskers.

Step 3.


Go ahead and draw in the simple cat style eyes and then the mouth with teeth.

Step 4.


We will work on the body next starting with the arms and shoulders then draw the collar and some of the cape. Oh and the one gloved hand which is in a clutched pose.

Step 5.


Now you can draw the other gloved hand which is in a fist pose because he is holding on to the handle of his sword.

Step 6.


Draw the handle of the sword and then draw some of the detailing to the handle.

Step 7.


Now you can draw out the blade and add some decal to the tip of the blade.

Step 8.


Draw out the body and then add the suit detailing which are the thigh pads or knee pads. Add detailing to the feet too.

Step 9.


Lastly, draw out the cape and the belt around the waist. Erase the mistakes and all the guides too.

Step 10.


Now the line art is complete and the drawing is ready to be colored in.

Description: Okay guys, here are some new characters from a different cartoon series called Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart. I will start by showing you how to draw Mao Mao, step by step or Sheriff Mao Mao. He is a cat who has an addiction to adventure and getting into altercations that sometimes he may or may not be able to handle. I never seen the series, but I asked my sister about it and she said it was a good show and I should do some characters from it. So here is drawing Sheriff Mao Mao.
